Since the beginning of the pandemic, we\u2019ve taken this purpose to new heights. TEGNA stations across the country<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0have helped to raise $66 million for COVID-19 relief through virtual telethons, benefits concerts, fundraising drives, and awareness campaigns. And today, on Giving Tuesday, TEGNA stations<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0together with the TEGNA Foundation<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0announced\u00a0<\/span>234 community grants<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to address critical community needs across the country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In recognition of our efforts, earlier this month, TEGNA was nominated as a finalist in\u00a0Digiday\u2019s\u00a0Greater Good Awards, which celebrate excellence in social good initiatives. This honor highlights our long-standing focus on community service while validating our expertise in the social good space \u2013 a driving factor in consumer decision-making today.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
