At KHOU, ad space for a 30-second spot can sell for less than <\/span>$400,000.<b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe have partners that are big brands, but in some cases, it makes more sense for them to buy a local spot rather than a national spot,\u201d explains Clark. \u201cThey reach a more localized DMA like Houston, with a large audience, creating brand awareness in a specific city or cities for a fraction of the network $7M price.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Following the success of a 2021 Super Bowl campaign and its ad series (mentioned above), Weather Tite Windows provides a great example of a cost-efficient Super Bowl campaign. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For much less than the $7 million price tag, in addition to its 30-second creative, t<\/span>he company was featured on WTSP throughout the day\u2019s coverage with logo placements and promotion of its <b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201c<\/span><\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/article\/news\/local\/contests\/win-cookies-for-a-year-from-weather-tite-windows\/67-842f444c-8c7d-4693-878b-f7001bd27317\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Cookie Bowl\u201d contest<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> in which viewers had a chance to win cookies for a year, courtesy of Weather Tite Windows. It was <\/span>promoted for weeks leading up to the big game.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cIt captured people&#8217;s attention, that\u2019s for sure. They were getting phone calls and text messages throughout the entire day,\u201d says Crouch. \u201cThe repetition is beneficial for the right advertiser looking to get their name out there.
