Patrick Paolini leads TEGNA’s daily operations, revenue-generating business strategies, local journalism and production and growth initiatives. His established history of success includes deep expertise in the broadcast television industry, major-market station management and impactful local news coverage.
Mr. Paolini brings 30 years of local broadcast management experience and a distinguished track record in sales, marketing and news operations, including management of large-market television stations.
Prior to TEGNA, Mr. Paolini served as executive vice president of advertising sales at FOX Television Stations. In this position, Mr. Paolini was responsible for ad sales strategy, initiatives and efforts across the FOX Television Station Group. Additionally, he was senior vice president and general manager of WTTG FOX 5 and WDCA FOX 5 Plus, in Washington D.C. for 10 years. Under Mr. Paolini’s leadership, the stations rose to number one in the market through the expansion of local news and lifestyle programming throughout the broadcast day.

Raquel Amparo leads development of TEGNA’s content vision and strategy, driving local content and news across the company’s digital, streaming, mobile, and linear TV platforms. An Emmy Award-winning journalist and media executive with more than 20 years of experience leading news organizations in major markets, Ms. Amparo joined the company in 2025 as vice president of content for TEGNA’s Texas stations.
Ms. Amparo has built a reputation for transforming newsrooms through digital innovation and community-centered storytelling. Prior to joining TEGNA, she served as president and general manager of CBS News Texas, where she expanded multiplatform content, modernized workflows and strengthened community engagement.
Ms. Amparo has held leadership roles at Univision and CBS Dallas–Fort Worth, guiding coverage of major national events and advancing accountability journalism. She remains committed to mentoring diverse talent and building newsrooms that reflect the communities they serve.
Ms. Amparo earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami.

Mark Cornetta is serving as the interim head of sales at TEGNA, overseeing the multi-channel sales organization within TEGNA and managing the company’s annual advertising and marketing services revenue. While acting in this position, Mr. Cornetta also maintains his roles as senior vice president of media operations, and president and general manager of KUSA, TEGNA’s NBC affiliate station in Denver.
Mr. Cornetta joined KUSA in 1987 as an account executive and quickly advanced to national sales Manager and then general sales manager. In 1995, Mr. Cornetta was promoted to vice president and general sales manager, and named president and general manager of KUSA in 2005. In 2014, he added the title of senior vice president of TEGNA’s Media division.
A respected industry veteran, Mr. Cornetta has been named the Rex Howell Broadcaster of the Year by the Colorado Broadcasters Association, and is a 2023 Heartland Emmy Silver Circle honoree.

Melissa Jones leads TEGNA’s human resources department, with expertise in organizational and talent development, leadership succession planning, executive coaching, and culture and change management. Ms. Jones joined the company in 2016 as vice president of human resources for TEGNA Media.
During her tenure, Ms. Jones has led TEGNA through organizational restructurings and strengthened talent strategies to support business transformation and growth. Prior to TEGNA, she spent 13 years as an executive at General Electric in global human resources roles across several divisions of the company.
Before transitioning to human resources, Ms. Jones worked as an employment lawyer, a background that continues to inform her approach to talent strategy and organizational change.
Ms. Jones holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Arts in politics from The Catholic University of America.

Pamela Long directs TEGNA’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and capital planning. A strategic finance executive with more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale finance organizations, Ms. Long has a proven record driving enterprise value.
Prior to joining TEGNA in 2015, Ms. Long served as vice president of Finance for Northcentral University, the University of Phoenix and the Institute for Professional Development. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong leadership skills by implementing financial strategies to improve sales performance, reduce costs, standardize processes and develop talent within organizations. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and got her start in public accounting.
Ms. Long has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northcentral University.

Cam McClelland is responsible for the accurate presentation of TEGNA’s consolidated financial results and oversees the company’s accounting, tax, treasury and financial shared services teams. Mr. McClelland joined TEGNA in 2007, acting as assistant controller before his appointment as controller in 2015.
Prior to joining TEGNA, Mr. McClelland served as vice president of financial reporting and compliance at Lafarge North America, Inc., and spent 10 years with US Airways Group in a variety of roles, including managing director of corporate accounting. He began his career more than 30 years ago in public accounting as an auditor and is a certified public accountant (CPA), actively licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Mr. McClelland has a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from the University of Virginia.

Kurt Rao leads the end-to-end strategy and execution for TEGNA’s digital products and technology platforms, uniting product management, technology, engineering and operations to deliver local news and information across broadcast, streaming, mobile and digital platforms.
Mr. Rao joined TEGNA in 2018 as senior vice president and chief technology officer. In this role, he led TEGNA’s digital transformation, overseeing all facets of TEGNA’s technology strategy, including the creation and implementation of proprietary AI tools. Previously, Mr. Rao was chief information and technology officer for Time Inc., corporate chief information officer at Time Warner Inc., and vice president of technology at NBC Universal.

Marc Sher leads TEGNA’s legal department, overseeing all legal matters, including, among other things, commercial transactions, litigation, intellectual property, regulatory matters, privacy, employment, ethics and compliance, and corporate governance. He serves as a key partner to the executive team, aligning legal strategy with business objectives across the organization.
Mr. Sher has more than 20 years of combined in-house and law firm experience advising media companies, enabling him to bring a pragmatic, business-focused approach to the company’s complex legal challenges.
Mr. Sher joined TEGNA in 2013 and previously served as vice president, associate general counsel and corporate secretary, supporting executive leadership and the board of directors. Before TEGNA, he spent more than a decade at Dow Lohnes PLLC, advising media and technology clients on commercial transactions, privacy, and intellectual property matters.
Mr. Sher earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Emory University in 1998 and a Juris Doctor, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School in 2003.
