Gannett Acquires Planet Discover

McLEAN, VA – Gannett today acquired Planet Discover, a provider of local, integrated online search and advertising technology. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In addition to many of Gannett’s Web sites, Planet Discover will continue working with its broad array of clients, Millard said.

Millard and his brother, Todd Millard, Planet Discover’s chief technology officer, will remain with the company, which is located in Covington, KY, and Cedar Rapids, IA.
