Gannett Directors Declare Regular Quarterly Dividend
ARLINGTON, Va. — The directors of Gannett Co., Inc., today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 19 cents per share, payable on April 1, 1998, to shareholders of record on March 6, 1998. The directors met in regular session today. Gannett is a nationwide news and information company that publishes 87 daily newspapers, including USA TODAY, and USA WEEKEND, a newspaper magazine. Gannett also operates 20 television stations, cable television systems in five states and alarm security services.
