Gannett Names East Brunswick, NJ, Publisher

McLEAN, VA- Ketan N. Gandhi has been named president and publisher of the Home News Tribune in East Brunswick, NJ.

He previously had been group controller for Atlantic Coast Newspaper Group and a vice president at the Asbury Park (NJ) Press and the Home News Tribune. He succeeds John Ziomek, who retired.

Gandhi began his career with Gannett in 1986 as an accounting manager at the Valley News Dispatch of Tarentum, PA. He also served as controller for Gannett newspapers in Elmira, NY, Warrendale, PA, and Binghamton, NY.

“Ketan Gandhi has a strong record as a financial executive,” said Gary Watson, president of the Newspaper Division. “He also knows the East Brunswick market well. This will position him well for the added responsibilities as publisher.”

Gandhi received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Bombay University in India, a diploma of business management from K C College in Bombay and an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
