Gannett Names Rose Mills Senior vice President of National Sales for U.S. Community Publishing
McLEAN, VA – Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) announced Rose Mills has been named senior vice president/national sales for U.S. Community Publishing. Mills previously served as senior director of sales for the West Region of PopSugar Media, a brand of media company Sugar Inc. She will report to Mary Murcko, Gannett’s president of sales, and will be based in Chicago.
“Rose has a proven record of building national sales by developing high-impact, multi-media opportunities for advertisers seeking solution-based experiences,” said Murcko. “Her extensive digital and print publishing background, paired with her ability to grow revenue by creating strategic, integrated customer solutions, make her a terrific addition to U.S. Community Publishing.”
Before joining Sugar Inc., Mills served as Midwest sales director of Allure (2010-2011); Midwest sales director at Hearst Digital Media (2008-2010); Midwest director of Hearst Magazine’s CosmoGirl Magazine; Midwest manager of Hearst Magazine’s Victoria Magazine; and served in other sales positions for Conde Nast Publications’ Glamour Magazine and Mademoiselle Magazine.
Mills is a graduate of Purdue University and is a member of the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association, Chicago Magazine Association, Chicago Advertising Federation and Purdue Alumni.
