Correction to Fourth-Quarter and Full-Year 2000 Earnings
ARLINGTON, VA – A press release from Gannett Co., Inc. earlier today should have said that diluted earnings per share from continuing operations were $1.11 in the fourth quarter of 2000 rather than the $1.12 reported in that press release. This change has no impact on any other reported number for the quarter or for the full year.
