Don Bailey Named President and Publisher of The Times in Shreveport, LA
McLEAN, VA – Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) announced today that Donald W. Bailey has been named president and publisher of The Times in Shreveport, LA. Bailey was formerly president of Morris Communications Corporation’s The Augusta Chronicle (GA) and its portfolio which included 13 independent business units in Georgia and South Carolina. He held that position since 2004. Under his leadership, The Augusta Chronicle successfully reorganized to consolidate businesses and increase operational efficiencies.
