Gannett Names Eric Hertting Assistant Treasurer

McLEAN, VA -Eric Hertting today was named assistant treasurer of Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI). Hertting was director of Corporate Finance, Corporate Treasury, for Lockheed Martin Corporation.

“Eric possesses 22 years of strong financial experience and leadership,” said Gracia Martore, Gannett’s executive vice president and chief financial officer. “We are excited to have him aboard and believe he is well-suited for his new role within Gannett.”

Hertting received a B.S. in chemistry from McGill University, a B.A. in Humanities from John Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
