Shareholders Re-Elect Three Board Members
ARLINGTON, Va.– Gannett shareholders today re-elected three members of the Board of Directors at Gannett’s annual meeting held at the company’s corporate headquarters here.
They are:
Meredith A. Brokaw
John J. Curley
Samuel J. Palmisano
Directors Peter B. Clark and Thomas A. Reynolds, Jr. are retiring from the board, as they have reached the mandatory board retirement age of 70.
Earlier today, Gannett’s directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share, payable on July 1, 1999 to shareholders of record on June 4, 1999.
Gannett is a nationwide news and information company that publishes 74 daily newspapers, including USA TODAY, and USA WEEKEND, a newspaper magazine. Gannett also operates cable television systems in three states and 21 television stations.
