Good People

“Being in good company allows me to always be the best version of myself as I continue to learn and grow, personally and professionally, from the good people around me. Whether that’s the incredible #TeamTEGNA or our wonderful clients, I rarely end my day without having learned something new.”

“I recognize how fortunate I am to be a woman with a voice and the freedom to make choices for myself. The cracks in the glass ceiling are real and I’ve watched some amazing women forge pathways to allow themselves and all who come behind to continue in their footsteps.  Women’s History Month is a time to reflect, to share our personal stories into the collective female history, and to mentor young women (and men) to keep creating those paths.”

Honored by Cynopsis as a 2021 Top Woman in Media, TEGNA’s Chief Operating Officer Lynn Beall is a shining example of what it means to Be in Good Company. Today, she’s sharing meaningful career advice, the importance of local journalism, and what it takes to be a great manager.

Just Announced! Congratulations to TEGNA’s COO Lynn Beall, VP of Sales Intelligence Jessica Daigle, and VP & WFAA Station Manager Carolyn Mungo for being honored as Top Women in Media by Cynopsis.

How do you tell a story as big as the Tokyo Olympics? Scott Swan, News Anchor at WTHR in Indianapolis started with a trip to Tokyo while getting to know the places and the people that make it so special.

At TEGNA, we are fortunate to find good, smart female leaders at all levels of our organization. For Women’s History Month, we are celebrating some of our most fabulous female leaders.
