Claybaugh Named President, Publisher of Two Gannett Ohio Newspapers

McLEAN, VA – Thomas E. Claybaugh today was named president and publisher of the Zanesville Times Recorder and the Coshocton Tribune, two newspapers in Ohio owned by Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI).

“Tom Claybaugh is an experienced community newspaper executive. He understands and appreciates the needs of both advertisers and readers,” said Gary Watson, president of Gannett’s Newspaper Division. Claybaugh, 45, currently is director of Advertising for the Press & Sun-Bulletin in Binghamton, NY. He began his career at Gannett with the company’s Rochester, NY, operation in 1989. He and his wife, Theresa, have three children.
