Ehrman Named vice President/Planning and Development at Gannett

ARLINGTON, Va. — Dan Ehrman has been named vice president/planning and development by Larry F. Miller, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Ehrman, 51, had been senior vice president of Gannett Broadcasting since 1995. From 1984 to 1995, he was vice president/finance and business affairs, also in Gannett Broadcasting. Ehrman joined Gannett in 1977 as manager of accounting. In 1980, he was promoted to director of accounting and financial reporting. In 1991, Ehrman was selected Gannett’s Corporate Staff Person of the Year.

“Dan has spent 20 years at Gannett and brings tremendous financial skills to his new role for the company,” said Miller.

Ehrman holds a degree in architectural engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Gannett is a nationwide news and information company that publishes 91 daily newspapers, including USA TODAY, and USA WEEKEND, a newspaper magazine. Gannett also operates 18 television stations, five radio stations, cable television systems in five states and alarm security services.
