Gannett Announces Executive Appointment
McLEAN, VA – Christopher R. Frey has been named vice president/national sales and database marketing in the Newspaper Division. He was previously director/advertising development.

Stinson, senior vice president/marketing in the Newspaper Division. “We are excited to have him put his skills to work in new capacities for Gannett newspapers all across the country.”
Frey was vice president/associate media director of Ross Roy Advertising in Detroit and director of media for Kmart before joining Gannett in 1993 as Detroit regional sales manager for Gannett National Newspaper Sales. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
