Newspaper Division Announces Two Publisher Appointments

ARLINGTON, VA — Two publisher appointments were announced today in the Newspaper Division.

— Richard Roesgen becomes president and publisher of The Sheboygan (Wis.) Press. He previously held a similar position at The Reporter at Fond du Lac, Wis. — Genia L. Lovett succeeds Roesgen in Fond du Lac. She previously was advertising director at the Battle Creek (Mich.) Enquirer.

Roesgen joined The Reporter in 1991 as news editor. From 1992 to 1998, he served as managing editor before being named publisher. He is a graduate of the University of Montana.

Lovett began her newspaper career at the Chillicothe Gazette in 1979, where she held positions in the News and Advertising departments. In 1987, she became advertising director of The News-Messenger in Fremont, Ohio. She assumed her role in Battle Creek last year.
