Upset with another media company, Traci Sanchez was looking for a good company to help grow her two businesses. When she met Brenda Tindle at TEGNA’s WATN in Memphis, Tennessee, it was love at first sight. Watch as the pair explains how their relationship has developed and how business blossomed as a result.
Traci Sanchez with Andy B’s Entertainment center and TCBY came to meet WATN’s Brenda Tindle more than seven years ago. She was seeking out a new media company because she was very upset with who she was working with.
“They weren’t listening to my needs and it just felt like they wanted to just make money. Once I met Brenda, I knew she was going to be someone that’s going to help me propel my business,” says Sanchez. “I know for a fact that I would not see the numbers and growth in my company without partnering with Brenda, and I will continue to see growth in my company because of her and TEGNA.”
“My job is awesome. I get an opportunity to learn things from clients. I want them to trust me. I want to build those relationships with them,” says Tindle. “I listen to what they want, who they are, and what they need – not a cookie-cutter. That’s being in good company.”
With WATN and TEGNA, Sanchez admits she couldn’t be happier, and it’s all about the trust and friendship she’s developed with Tindle – it’s not all just business.
“At the end of the day, you want someone to care about your business. Brenda and TEGNA do just that,” says Sanchez. “She makes it all-encompassing in her life. It’s never about how much money she’s going to make. It’s literally about you, the client, and that’s what you don’t find nowadays. Everybody’s after the fast dollar and not being up and up.”
That sentiment is echoed by Tindle and all of Team TEGNA. “It’s very important that that trust and that relationship is there,” says Tindle. “I care about what’s happening, not only to them but to their business.”
It’s that trust and theme of being in good company that helps to build long-lasting relationships and provide such great results for our clients.
“I just couldn’t imagine being with anybody but Brenda,” says Sanchez. “I will continue to be with Brenda Tindle and TEGNA, as long as they’ll have me.”
