TEGNA Serving the Greater Good this #GivingTuesday

At TEGNA, our purpose is to serve the greater good of our communities, and during COVID, we’ve done just that, raising more than $66 million for COVID-relief and counting. This Giving Tuesday, TEGNA stations, together with the TEGNA Foundation, announced 234 community grants to address critical community needs across the country.

As one of the nation’s largest local media companies with 64 stations in 52 markets across the country, we at TEGNA are proud to live our purpose of serving the greater good of our local communities every day.

Through award-winning local news and information, community engagement, and the very best marketing solutions, we are proud to serve and help build the local economy of our markets.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we’ve taken this purpose to new heights. TEGNA stations across the country, have helped to raise $66 million for COVID-19 relief through virtual telethons, benefits concerts, fundraising drives, and awareness campaigns. And today, on Giving Tuesday, TEGNA stations, together with the TEGNA Foundation, announced 234 community grants to address critical community needs across the country.

In recognition of our efforts, earlier this month, TEGNA was nominated as a finalist in Digiday’s Greater Good Awards, which celebrate excellence in social good initiatives. This honor highlights our long-standing focus on community service while validating our expertise in the social good space – a driving factor in consumer decision-making today.

And across TEGNA, we have many ways for your business to align with socially conscious consumers. Here are just a few examples of how our stations have helped brands like yours with socially responsible marketing.
