We asked some of our TEGNA employees to define what Women’s History means to them in one word. Here’s what Denisha Thomas at WATN, Angela Pace at WBNS, Tim Pham at KREM, Joanie Vasiliadis, and Dave Neway at TEGNA, had to say.

In celebrating Women’s History month, we’re shining the spotlight on TEGNA’s WLTX’s Dari Strickland, her commitment to providing trustworthy journalism, dedication to community service, and what that means for brands that advertise with WLTX and TEGNA affiliates.  

Being a working woman in 1953 was virtually unheard of. Unless, of course, you were Georgia Davidson. As the founder of KTVB in Idaho, Davidson leaves behind a legacy of community service through trustworthy journalism and paved the way for several female leaders at the station, including Jessica Hagan, Kate Morris, Kristi Edmunds, Lisa Chavez, and Traci Liew. Join us in celebrating Women’s History Month by honoring Davidson’s legacy as a trailblazer, and learn what her legacy means for TEGNA’s advertising partners.

Not only is November 19th National Adoption Day, but this year in Dallas and Fort Worth, it’s also Celebrate the Love Day in honor of WFAA’s program that shines a light on stories of adoption and ways the community can help.
